My Secret Weapon for Makeup Removal!

Updated: Sep 21, 2020

If you're anything like me, taking off your makeup at night can feel like a chore. Our night time routines can have multiple steps and taking off your makeup seems like the hardest one. Not only is it difficult to get it all off, but certain products can leave behind a residue or dry out your skin.

Do you know the importance of taking off your makeup at night? The skin renews itself while you sleep, and when you leave makeup on, you are preventing that from happening. The skin cannot breath and signs of fatigue start to appear.

If you sleep in your makeup, day-old foundation, powder, and eye makeup can settle into your creases and fine lines, causing your skin to look dull and dehydrated.

That’s why it is important to use a makeup remover before going to bed, and then moisturizing your face to help your skin breathe right.

My issue is sensitive skin. 🙄 After trying "gentle" cleansers, makeup removing wipes, and micellar waters, I was still left with residue and an irritated face. The cleansers can be drying, the wipes can be irritating and leave a residue and are bad for the environment, and the micellar waters didn't cleanse enough.

So after all the trail and error, I finally found something that works for me, The Makeup Eraser! Check out the amazing benefits of this miracle cloth:

  • Safe for sensitive skin

  • Antibacterial

  • Hypoallergenic

  • Machine washable

  • Lasts 3-5 years

  • Environmentally friendly

  • 100% Vegan

Check out this quick video showing you exactly how to use it! It will even remove stubborn waterproof eye makeup as well. My tips for removing waterproof makeup is to soak your Makeup Eraser in hot water, wring out the excess, and hold the eraser over the area for 5 seconds. This will help loosen the makeup and remove it like magic. I just can't say enough great things about this little guy!

And to top it off, it's easy to clean (thank you Lord). Just throw it in the washing machine. It's drier safe as well! I normally wash mine once a week. I just use a different section of the eraser each day until there are no more clean sections left. And don't forget to wash with the shorter fibers and then exfoliate with the longer fibers. This will help ensure you get every last big of makeup off!
